Paramotoring
PPG - Technical modifications
"WJ spare battery starter
kit" for WJ Simon or Apache 2004, 2005 models.
Have ever gone to your take off field, unpacked, set
up just to find out that you battery is weak and will not crank the
prop over at sufficient speed to get your machine going? I bet you
did and so did I many times. This happens often in winter if you
paramotor is stored in unheated garage or if it gets very cold as it
is transported to the field. One will then try to hand prop the
machine that is quite dangerous especially if you are by your self
or try to use jumper cables and car battery to produce wonderful
sparks and electrical arches as you fumble around trying to connect
the high Amp wires. Well, no more!
I have designed a "WJ spare battery starter
kit". This includes 2 brand spanking new batteries that are
used in WJ machines + proper wiring harness + proper charger or
suggestion on how to alter the charger that came with your machine
so you can use it to charge battery in your "WJ spare battery
starter kit". This is how this works:
-
You will disconnect the bullet connectors on the
starter wires
-
You will attach the "spare battery starter
kit" wires to the starter motor wires.
-
You will push button on "spare battery
starter kit" and machine will start.
-
You will run it for while to re-charge the
battery that is part of you machine or carefully
reach in and disconnect the "spare battery starter
kit" wires from starter motor and re-connect the starter
motor with battery box.
-
You will then enjoy the flight
The cost is $ 99 Cad for the whole kit - if you have
your own charger or $ 115 if you want me to supply charger with the
kit. To convert $ CAD to other currencies click here.
Let me know if you are interested or wish to order.
Take care Andre
