How to
remove engine or battery box on 2004 Simon models:
If there is need to remove engine from the Simon XC
or RR units. Follow these simple steps:
Peel of the back rest padding.

-
Charger connector or 12 V 2A supply
-
Secondary ignition switch (turn off if you plan to
spin prop by hand etc)
-
Fuse 10 A
-
Motor connector
-
Throttle connector
Push down the silver lock on the throttle connector,
turn 45 degrees counter clockwise and remove by pulling out. Do the
same with the engine connector. Remove spark plug lead/wire.

Disconnect the starter wire connectors. Now you can
remove the 4 bolts attaching the engine to the frame.

If your batteries are weak the battery box can be easily
removed by undoing 4 bolts as on the picture above and send in for
battery exchange.
