Simple guard for WJ paramotors: Lately, I have witnessed several "parablending" accidents where lines were lost. I had a serious guard made to prevent parablending but this may not be solution for everyone as this guard was not cheap, took time to manufacture and it also adds some weight. I thought there must be a simple way to prevent lines from falling into the small opening between the prop and cage. I have come up with this idea... Purchase 3 ft aluminum stick - I got mine from Canadian Tire but any larger hardware store will have one and 4 automotive clamps. Bent the aluminum stick to match the shape of the top of the cage and clamp down. Done. Total cost $ 6.59. Total building time 2.5 min. Not much more to say. The pictures tell the story.
Good luck Andre See more improvements here |
