Rimouski North American Record -  2005

Rimouski, Quebec - July,  2005

Myself and fellow PPG pilots (Mark Dean and Tracy Dempsey) had the great oppurtunity to be part of a North American PPG record. Rimouski is located east of Quebec city and is on the coast of the St Lawrence seaway.

The local PPG club had organized the event and had done an excellent job. The aim of the event was to attain the world record which was 140 PPG in the air at the same time. At the site there was 158 registered PPG pilots at the event, However not all the pilots had flown. We did not attain the world record, however we did break the North American record with 127 PPG pilots in the air consecutively.

Myself and Mark had showed up at the event several days earlier and had many outstanding flights. Overall, the experience was excellent and I'm looking forward to the next one in Rimouski in 2007.
