Green
Eagle now give you an engine that produces more thrust than a Rotax 447, the same thrust
as a Rotax 503 or 582 with the same propeller and re-drive at half the RPMs. It
deliver up to a 75% increase in fuel efficiency versus 2-stroke engines. It is
67% more efficient on propane which will net you an average 4 hours flight on Propane
and 4.5 hours on our Gas Version. By using propane and a 4-stroke engine at low
RPMs there is an estimated 3000+ hours between rebuilds or TBOs. This is 10 times less
maintenance than any Rotax.
Many PPG companies
that have electric start as a standard sell their back pack units for 6,700 USD with no
trike and no wing. Many trikes that have the same thrust sell for $15,000 USD
and up. This unit starts at $8,700 USD and you get so much more in lower cost to fly,
lower repair cost, cleaner, quieter and all around better for our environment.
Don’t forget
that with a 2-stroke you have to mix oil with Gas bringing a gallon a fly ready gas to
about $6.00. If you don’t use that gas soon it goes bad, not to mention if you
leave it in your carburetor you have other maintenance problems as well.
During development
we modified engines built multiple re-drives, added special Constant Velocity carbs,
Cylinder head modifications, Valves, New Pistons, Cam Shaft Mods, Fly Wheel mods, and all
the stuff that goes into making a slow engine with lots of torque give you fast RPMS
without the need of High Octane oil mixed gas.
We use larger
engines with more torque focusing on power delivery with special built re-drives from
various manufacturers. With the help of many leaders in the PPG, PPC, Propellers,
Engineering, and Manufacturing world we were able to bring you the most innovative,
advanced, low cost, powered paragliding trike / quad to date.
Greeneagle.com
teamed up with Buckeye Manufacturing with 18 plus years of experience and innovation to
use of their facility for mass production. Kenneth AKA "Butch' at
Buckeye Manufacturing put his twenty years of experience and a million dollar
facility together to produce a state of the art frame and engine mounting
system. He designed a re-drive floating mount system for military observation
planes. This kept a beefy re-drive delivering more than 35HP and 65 pounds of torque from
adversely affecting the craft with vibrations or torque turn. His design
successfully enabled the aircraft to use hi-def video surveillance equipment. His
experience, expertise in design and manufacturing are leagues above the rest and I would
have been a year out of production with out him.
Our engineer /
machinist Craig built the best quality and most robust interchangeable re-drive system for
testing that I have ever seen. Craig was instrumental in aiding in valuable
carburetion and thrust test sometimes through the wee hours of the night. His
dedication to getting the job done kept us on schedule for both PPC and PPG projects.
His attention to detail is a nice touch to the Green Eagle and with out his help we
would have been months behind schedule “Thank You Craig”.
You are getting a
craft made by a large group of the best people in the industry and the most up to date
technology in the PPG/PPC world today. I want to thank all the
unmentioned companies and people who helped make this revolutionary machine become a
reality. Don’t take our word for it - fly one for yourself.

Flight!! - After cutting the grass this evening it was time to fly. I haven't
had a chance to fly the Green Eagle since I'm back from Florida so it was her turn to go
up. The winds were fairly low but picked up after about 30 minutes. Had fun and it's
always nice to fly the Green Eagle. This 4 stroke thumper is in my view, easily the
top of the line 4 stroke PPG trike on the market. With the 38 HP Generac four-stroke engine you can't go wrong, the power is incredible and the fuel
mileage is Excellent!! Folk's, if you want the same turn key reliability as your vehicle
in a PPG, the Green Eagle is for you!! You can't beat this trike at the price of
$8700.00 US. Click on the photo to enlarge.

Green
Eagle coming this 2009 training season!! -
Eric and I have been testing and flying the Green Eagle 4 stroke Trike the
last couple days. There were a few adjustments and mods that we had requested
of the owner Ashton but overall we were very impressed with the quality of
construction and power of the 4 stroke powerplant. The Green Eagle Trike has a very
good power to weight ratio and gets even a heavy pilot off the ground in no time. Eric,
Ashton and I have been trying several different paragliders to see what would be the best
matched glider for the average pilot. The 35 HP 4 stroke is very quiet, reliable with
great fuel economy. It comes standard as a gas model but you can also order it
to run propane with trike or quad wheels. It is designed to fit in the back of any
small or large pickup truck. Also it can be transported with a newly engineered easy
launch system or wheelchair ramp on a car without disassembling.
Eric Dufour and I are HUB Dealers
for the Green Eagle Trike and PPGNB will be providing the trike for Canadian pilots
starting 2009 training season. Anyone interested in this Trike, send me an E-mail and I
can give you further details.

PPG Green Eagle $8,700 US
Warranty
Green Eagle has been testing for more than
two years before offering our first product unit to the consumer. We then went to long
term dealers and instructors 8 months before going public. This way we were able to trial
and error many things that are common needs of today’s advanced pilots to give you a
craft so complete with today’s technology, and innovation, that we will stand by our
craft. Some of our dealers had a Green Eagle for a year before we were finished with QC
design improvements and final R&D.
Why such a strong warranty?
We have heard it all over the years. The stories pilots have from manufactures mostly
blaming the customer if a problem should occur which is quite often with 2 strokes. In
many cases if the customer is at fault it is in getting fuel oil mixes wrong. The 4 stroke
eliminates that risk.
As a Technician myself, I was told by
manufactures that I must of done something wrong instead of standing by the posted
warranty. I had engine failures on personal 2 stroke units that I meticulously maintained.
In many cases the shipping overseas, and repair cost were more than purchasing a new
engine. As a pilot and a dealer for various aircraft I became frustrated with this common
practice. I realized it is just too hard for companies to warranty 2 stroke engines.
We decided to engineer the best 4 stroke
combinations with our Green Eagle to offer you not only an outstanding warranty but more
fuel efficiency, quieter engines, more Eco friendly, and much lower operation cost.
Since our engines had gone through rigorous testing over the years we decided offer the
best warranty in the Powered Paragliding community.
Green Eagle puts their warranty and engine
maintenance program in writing for all to see. The standard warranty comes at no
additional cost
Standard DFX 61 engine comes with a
full one-year or 100 hours which ever comes first to include all moving internal parts,
including parts and labor. This warranty is only void if there is evidence of no oil in
the engine or the warranty rules are not followed. We have tested this engine with only 1
quart on our airboats so you will have to run it near empty for a while to seriously harm
it. A free proper service schedule is in place and all engines come with 60 hour oil
change kit free when you call and request it.
What does my free Oil change kit come with?
You get three quarts of Amsoil 100% non
petroleum based synthetic oil and filter with instructions. This oil is very expensive and
you have an extra quart to keep your engine oil levels in check for the next two years. We
charge only shipping cost for the kit when ordered. You will need your unit serial # when
ordering.
Fuel Injected FIT 49 Engines:
We offer a 2 year or 150 hours whichever
comes first warranty including parts and labor on all fuel injected FIT 49 engines to
include all moving internal parts. Oil service program applies after 80 hours of
operation.
We offer a full one-year warranty or 75
hours whichever comes first on our re-drives and moving parts to include bearings and
drive pulleys. Belts are not included as they are a normal wear item.
Warranty Extension Programs:
At purchase or after inspection by a HUB
dealer Green Eagle will offer a 1 year or 60 hour warranty extension program for $500.00
once sighed off by a local HUB dealer. If you purchase an extension contract at sale of
new craft you do not need an inspection.
Extended warranty’s are transferable and can be purchased for new owners once inspected.
This is a great re-sell tool and will insure your Eagle does not drop in value if well
maintained.
As dealers come on board you can have your
dealer inspect service and fill out your form. Your warranty is transferable; however
we need all information on new owner for serial # match to new owner names.
1. Your yearly flight forms must be turned
in at year end or by 30 DEC each year or warranty will be void. This information can be
called in.
2. If you have to replace the hour meter you must contact us and send back old meter. We
will serial # and give you a new one at cost. If we are not informed warranty would be
void.
3. Not participating in the Free Oil Service program will void your warranty.
4. If there is any evidence of aftermarket tampering without prior consent from Apogee
Power Sports or Green Eagle warranty will be void.
5. Running engine on low oil levels will void warranties
6. Warranty does not cover engine electrical system or leaks of any kind
7. Evidence of running fuels not intended for the engine will void warranty
8. Evidence of abuse and running engine above recommended RPMs will void warranty
9. Engines and hour meters must be sent with engine that has failed. Repairs, parts, or
replacement will be free if engine is under warranty. In many cases we will want to
interview you to help us serve you better.
We hope our warranty program not only shows
our good faith but increases the value of your Green Eagle.
We at Green Eagle hope to see you in the air
for years to come with your new personal aircraft. We welcome any insight you may have to
help us serve you better.
